“Surprisingly good, secure three-storey building on commercial street. Very large investment made here to modernize this hotel: bathrooms new with strong pressure and hot water plentiful, comfortable beds and bedding. Restaurant and bar service with actual edible cuisine, (well, food) and espresso. Decor is pretty spartan though, merely functional. Staff and management is responsive and professional. City Hotel is the only viable hostelry in this immediate vicinity. Unless you need specifically...

“A good hotel with excellent and very helpful staff. Has all the amenities a traveler visiting Liberia would appreciate, including consistent water and electricity supply, hot water showering, continental breakfast, CNN news, spacious rooms, etc. The only downside is the lack of an elevator system in the whole building. If you can't climb stairs, this facility is not for you.”

“In the middle of the night, you hear some animals suspected to be cats running and making funny noise on the roof of the building. Provision. At wash room was poor with substandard facilities as compared to their charges ”

“The property was very dirty, the room was not ready for me to check in, the manager claimed the payment I made to cover my stay had not been reflected in their account. The room shown to me was very dirty and no air conditioning in the room, the bed covers or sheets were dirty and stinking. The hotel does not resemble what was advertised in Expedia web site. I DID NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL DUE TO ALL OF THE ABOVE.”

“sewer smell in the room is strong especially when the AC is off. The bathroom is super outdated, but overall good customer service and prompt room service. Hotel management needs to do better with renovating and maintaining the hotel premises”
