What a delightful motel and such friendly and helpful staff. We were glad we chose this property. It was convenient for walking downtown to the Rugby Museum and lots of shops. The room was well appointed and my husband said it had the most comfortable lounge chair/seating of any property we had been in during our month of travel. The kitchenette worked well for our needs and the spa tub was perfect after a long day of hiking and car travel. Would highly recommend this property for a visit to...

What an amazing hidden gem - such great detail and oh so friendly- I mistakenly booked twice and they were so understanding and rectified immediately. Don’t pass the stables up , it’s an amazing experience

Amazing stay! Friendly staff, amenities at walking distance, quiet place to stay despite being on a busy road. Would stay again!

Great value with extra clean rooms and unexpected perks such as complimentary hot chocolate and shortbreads. Friendly staff at check in as well.

Staff were very helpful with any extras that we needed, parking was easy and location to supermarkets, cafes and lots of other shops was great.

I accompanied my college age daughter for an overnight trip to this town, to visit the school. Af the a short trip from Auckland wearied at the hotel, settled in and spent much time walking around town. The hotel acted as our base, providing a nice quiet rest, good food, thoughtful service, and a very friendly and helpful staff. They always helped with calling a taxi, helping with storing our bags after checking out and touring the town, and providing helpful suggestions on places to go and...

Quiet but located near downtown. We loved visiting the area of Palmerston North

Nice staff, like a family business.

Dated decor and upper rooms no view but friendly staff and clean!

Amazing stay. Super helpful and easy check in. Super clean and tidy. Defiatly on the stay again listcwhen in Palmerston North

Always stay at Braemar when we visit Palmerston North. So comfortable and quite. Lovely hosts.

Last-minute switch to this hotel from another that was not acceptable. Our expectations were not high but we were pleasantly surprised. Bed was very comfortable, room was very spacious. Small balcony outside. Road noise minimal. Bathroom very large and somewhat spa-like in Its furnishings. TV was good, internet was fast, a/c was working and good! Restaurants within walking distance. Good amount of local info in the room binder.

I would update the pillows. Everything else was great!

We had a very comfortable and quiet stay and are looking forward to our next visit.
