"We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. "The cabin was immaculately clean and comfortable! We had so much space for our party of five to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The beds were very comfy, and the full, updated kitchen was so useful during our stay as we were in the area for a reunion. We loved the outdoor area, too, and enjoyed spending time talking around the firepit. The homeowners even provided the marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate to make s'mores, which we did! It was a wonderful stay, and we're already talking...

"This property was absolutely breath taking .From the scenery to the beautiful cabin. It was so peaceful to just sit and listen to the river all day long and then opening the sliders at night and falling a sleep to the sound. They had everything and more stocked inside the cabin. My only complaint is that we weren’t able to stay longer. Hands down best location Iv ever been to. If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing stay then this place is a must! We have already made plans to return. "

"I don't like to give bad comments but, in general, the property is nice, but in the description it mentions having a pool among the services it offers, but that pool does not exist, this was disappointing because it is one of the main reasons why I booked , also the beds have bedbugs omg I'm still itching from the more than 20 bites all over my body. 🙁"
