Anyways, check-in staff were lethargic with zero smiles or welcoming nature (someone needs to remind them that they work in hospitality). This is an old-school type homely resort with so much to offer. Great location. Great activities. Amazing heated pools - especially at this time of year! Excellent for families - would most definitely return. ”

“This was an outstanding experience. The lodge has a stunning location perched on a cliff overlooking the river below. Our room was utterly delightful, Angelo’s cooking amazing and Pemba’s game drives literally stunning. Great , great game viewing.”

“Loved staying at Ardmore with its family friendly, as well as couples, atmosphere. The dining staff were excellent and very friendly. Arrival was done very quickly and efficiently. The food was amazing and the Honesty Bar was a perfect touch with a great little atmosphere, each room had a little fire going and made the overall ambience very cosy and nice. Great stay would love to come back oneday.”

“Wonderful little spot! The lady at reception was so friendly and the unit was clean, cosy and comfortable. We met a lovely kid you the name of Fanfan, who sometimes sells clay African animals across the road from windmill farm. What a lovely young man- go meet him if he is around. ”
