"An extraordinary chateau and an unforgettable experience. The owner, Philippe, made us most welcome and ensured we had truly excellent service throughout our stay. Our room was large and very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. What stood out was the lavishly appointed reception rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms. "The hotel is in a lovely setting, the reception staff were very pleasant . The rooms were clean. Unfortunately the condition of the room and hotel was a different matter. It looks like it could do with a complete upgrade as it seemed tatty and in communal areas to be really run down. If money was spent in the right way because of its setting could be a wonderful hotel. Cannot comment on the restaurant as we did not eat in it."
