“The front desk tried to charge me an extra $100 deposit when I checked in even though I had booked months in advance. They didn't have a room ready and I was two hours late checking in as I arrived late. Many of the rooms were deemed not suitable for habitation by the city with visable signage. The room service was done only if asked. The hotel smelled like mildew everywhere. The shower puddled behind the toilet when used. The "kitchen" sink didn't work. Patty was the nicest and most helpful...

“It was the first time I saw a branded accommodation, and it was better than I expected. Clean and simple food can be prepared and eaten.”

“We requested a room on the top floor and away from the elevator and they delivered. It was a very quiet stay and love that the breakfast was served until 10:30 so I could sleep in.”

Really this is the best hotel in Racine and I can't wait to stay there again on future family visits to SE Wisconsin. “Staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and updated. Common areas were well maintained. Complimentary hot breakfast was a nice touch, especially at this price point. Neighborhood seemed to be relatively safe & quiet. Only odd thing to be forewarned about is all of the unusual smells in common areas. Combinations of insence, vape, dog, cologne, carpet shampoo. I will return if I'm in the same price point next time I'm in the area.”

“We reserved a room for 4 guests. Our room only had 2 towels. When the front desk was paged, we were told to go get them from the lobby. I asked if they could be brought to the room and the gentleman was nice enough to bring them. Then, we realized that the room had no hand soap and no body wash. There was only one small bottle of shampoo, conditioner and lotion. For 4 people!?
