“Didas Villa was the perfect place to stay before our Safari. The owner, Fred, met us at check-in. We arrived kind of late and very hungry. He offered to cook for us or to drive us to a restaurant. He drove us to a wonderful restaurant called Amber. It was delicious with an Indian inspired menu. After dinner we called Fred and he came to pick us up. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating- even going so far as to check I was well when I slept in after a long hike at Kilimanjaro. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area.”

“I love this hotel! It’s clean and super safe (they have a security guard at the gate). The staff is helpful and welcoming. They can help you find restaurants, get a a taxi, even just answer questions about Tanzanian culture. Most speak very good English. The owner is onsite almost everyday and really nice.
