“My partner and I love this location but we noticed the check out time was 10am on a weekday so paid for some extra time in the morning. We popped the "do not disturb" sign on the door and luckily put the chain on but were a bit shocked.to find the cleaner trying to get in at 10am. She didnt seem to be aware that we were in for a longer stay which made us both slightly annoyed. We will happily stay again but not if that keeps happening. “The room we were allocated was quite a treck upstairs, downstairs and along corridors, no lift to this area. The room was ok but dated and a bit dirty on the bed base and carpet. A window catch was broken and a whole pelmet fell down on me. I was lucky it just missed my head but it did hurt my hand at the time. Only stayed one night, but would definitely stay here again if in the area. Didn’t golf, but the course is just across the street. Highly recommend!”
