“Wonderful place to stay. Bed was really soft, which I love. The only tiny thing I would negatively say is the televisions are not smart tv, so had to rely on watching our phone's at night. Also, the toilet paper isn't the best quality, but we ended up buying some. Other than those two things, it was a fabulous stay.”

“The facility has a Bistro which they want you to use because there is no microwave in the room. Parking is adjacent to the room and, in our case remote, from the main road passing through Tanunda, so noise was minimal. The parking is under cover.”

“I stayed with my children, and they loved the swimming pool although it is a bit small. It was quiet and cozy for one night stay, and its location close to decent wineries is best advantage with hotel's friendly staff. If I visit Barrosa valley for shopping and tasting wine in summer, I will visit this hotel again.”

“I liked the character of the property and the new bathroom facilities which were spotless. Also easy access to town shops cafes etc”

“Unfortunately the flicker didn't work for my stove top so had to use a lighter but other than that it was great the kitchen had things to cook and eat with. Also the door to main bedroom isn't lockable so would definately recommend that .”

“Everything was perfect. The pool is spectacular. The gardens beautiful and tranquil. Cannot fault this retreat. Folk that stay at these places 1. Please be mindful that folk who book into "retreats" don't want to hear your voice 2. Don't want to see or hear your children. 3. Indeed not suitable for children as there are monsters and wolves and other creatures that will steal them away in the night. ”

“The location was spot on, quiet and tranquil but there are areas the location could improve on. We where in lodge 2 and the path from the car parking leading up to the lodge could be an issue in the dark with the garden retaining wall called across it partially blocking the clear access”
