“East check in, great location. Was able to walk into town. Room was clean, tidy and warm.”

“Love that our car was right outside our room. Staff accommodated a late checkout and were very friendly. Facilities had everything we required. Would definitely stay there again.”

“We stayed in the Garden Room, in mid May. The room is very rustic and while it would be great for a stay in spring or summer, we were very happy to only be there one night. It was comfortable (great bed) but very cold. I would suggest looking very closely at the photos on the website, and perhaps staying in a room in the house if you have a couple of nights in Yass.”

“Facility appears to have modernised recently. Very nice to walk into the room. Water scalding hot for shower, so that was a beautiful surprise. Riya at reception - outstanding. Asset to the place. Nice BBQ area in full view of room. Could leave kids in room and felt safe about it”

“Right in town and incredibly comfortable and quiet. The room is big so it was great having the fireplace and later the reverse cycle, so a nice option in winter. Gunderoo is definitely small but it’s an excellent option if you want to stay out of Canberra for the night and the food options are great.”

“the motel is an old heritage build with a good atmosphere. the rooms were neat and tidy. the food was really great, but there was no breakfast service, but overall, a great stay. ”

“The room was clean and a good size, comfortable beds and good air conditioning. I thought it could do with a couple of comfortable chairs and the remote didn’t work for the TV probably only needed new batteries”

“There was little or no human contact nor written instructions. The stove fan was very greasy, the stove top was discoloured. The vacuum cleaner hose was broken in one part. The room and parking numbering system were illogical, not sequential, e.g. room numbers didn’t correspond to floors and parking space numbers were haphazard. I didn’t know whom to contact if anything went wrong. On the positive side the A/C, plumbing, stove, fridge, lighting, doors , elevator, car gates worked, the bed was...
