There were towels laying in the stairwell when I arrived. Not sure when some guest left them so the staff might of not been aware they were there.

We had a suite of two separate bedrooms, a couch bed, a kitchen and refrigerator. It was very comfortable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The girl at the reception desk that checked us in (Janae?) was helpful with helping us get checked in and had great recommendations for restaurants. She was working an extra shift and was extremely positive and upbeat. Great job!

The area is great and very clean and safe. The room was a 2 bedroom suite it was huge and clean and a full kitchen! Staff was very friendly

Property was quiet and looked good on the outside but the room was less than clean. There was a hole in the door and the chair and bathroom was very dirty around the floorboards. Overall I would not stay here again.

The day before check-in, I was sent an email about how I no longer have the two rooms I booked for two nights. I was coming from Canada for a wedding in Sterling Heights and had to scramble to find something else. The hotel is absolutely unprofessional for cancelling our booking when I booked the rooms two months in advance. No one had the courtesy to even call me and accommodate me with something else. I phoned Expedia and they booked me another hotel for double the cost (thankfully Expedia covered the extra cost). I definitely do not recommend this hotel at all for the sole reason of it not being reliable the day before check-in. My cousin stayed in the hotel and explained how all they heard was renovations during their stay, and how their pool was closed (when advertised otherwise).

The first room smelt weird and the bathtub was clogged. So the next day we asked to change rooms and the staff helped us check into another room right away. We appreciate their help!

It is a few minutes from some of the finest shopping and dining. Could always find a parking spot. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

Although outdated, my room was clean. The last time I stayed at one of these hotels, the mattress was comfortable and the sheets were very soft. That's one reason I chose it this time, also because it is close to the hospital where I was visiting my gravely ill sister. This mattress was sagging and the sheets were rough. The desk attendant was nice but kept going on and on about his family history, enen though I had mentioned that I was there because my sister was in the hospital. I was tired and sad and just wanted to sleep. The breakfast was disappointing, no eggs or waffle iron.

Ceiling had water damage that wasn't repaired properly and bathroom had some paint damage. No ice bucket and ice machine wasn't convenient

Nice area by the lake. Very clean. Friendly and helpful reception desk staff. Peaceful and quiet, except for some guests upstairs, coming back late, in the middle of the night.
