Great unique property, super clean, really well appointed room. WE had trouble with the cable TV, but it very well could have been user error. Not a lot to do within walking distance of property, but plenty to do in the beautiful "Driftless Region." Looks like the property may have additional space- it would be amazing to use as a destination event space or farm to table dining concept, ala Driftless Cafe (outstanding restaurant 20 minutes away in Viroqua). We would definitely stay in this property again when we are visiting the area.

The self check-in process was a bit unclear. We were fortunate to see someone near the property who knew the owner. He called and was able to relay better info on how to access the room we'd reserved. When we entered the room across the hall had it's door ajar and the distinct aroma of marijuana was emitting from within. So a little disconcerting as Wis is not "legal" yet. The room we had was clean and well appointed for the most part. Certainly unique with many upgrades. It would be better to replace the divan with a loveseat for more comfortable seating. Perhaps the parking area will at some point be paved and the property adjacent to the warehouse cleaned up. It was a little rough, but there was for sure some historic charm to the place.

Very nice and well kept place.

We had a lovely overnight when we came to the area to hear some music. Very efficient self check-in, the place was extremely clean, well-appointed and comfortable. I would happily stay here again if I returned to the area.
