"Fabulous place and facilities - just wonderful!
Only thing that I would have found useful to know prior to arrival is that you only get starter provisions such as shampoo, toilet roll & washing up liquid so if staying longer than a couple of days you will need to stock up on more of these."

This is a very nice inn. It reminded me of the gasthauses we sometimes stayed at when I was growing up in Germany. A bit of an eclectic place, but the uniqueness and comfort of the accommodations was outstanding. And add to that an amazing restaurant. While there is not much immediately around it of interest, it's well located for accessing the nearby towns and attractions.

Stayed here for Rampage festival and it’s close enough to walk to the shuttle bus stop. The staff is wonderful and helped me schedule taxi service back from the festival late at night when the shuttles stopped running and Uber service was nonexistent. I would not have been able to stay for many of the late night sets I wanted to see without their help. Taxi from the festival is around 45-50 EUR. The breakfast is good too.
