The cabin was spotless, but could use some repair on the tiles in the shower. The proximity to the park and ability to walk to restaurants and tour companies, make it more than the best place to stay for the Whales Tail.

There are only 4 houses so it gives a lot of privacy. The houses are well maintained and fully equipped so far the best place we’ve ever had in any of our vacations. It was a little noisy in the area on Saturday because of the restaurants and live music but it stopped around 9pm, which was a pleasant surprise. We were very satisfied with the place.

Great location tarnished by ongoing construction

Loud construction work on the bungalow next to ours for two days of our three day stay. Drilling, metal grinding, hammering, etc. Oven door in our kitchen was broken, so we couldn't use that either. Asked for a different bungalow but didn't get one. Pool was semi-clean. Hotel.com customer service was also unwilling to help. Will use a different platform for the next booking.

Full disclosure - I did not see the notice to contact the property prior to arrival. That may have alleviated a couple of issues. When we arrived, the person working reception did not speak English so we had a problem communicating. She got us to our room, which was extremely hot due to no air conditioning running. Also, the type of property is conducive to heat. We turned on the A/C only to experience the one in the living room going out. We were only here for one night so we lived with the A/C unit in the bedroom. One of the bathroom shower heads leaked excessively so we could only use one shower. The location of this property is ideal and the size could accommodate two couples or a family. There was a pool right outside our door but we didn't have time to take advantage of it.

Les bungalows sont très bien placés , presque à l’entrée du parc Marino Ballena. Des restaurants tout près , des supérettes pour faire vos courses. Une très jolie piscine pour vous détendre. Les bungalows très bien équipés , personnel très accueillant.

Unsere Unterkunft war gross, jedoch war unsere Dusche am 1. Abend unbrauchbar! Auch das Licht im Schlafzimmer brannte nur wenn es wollte. Die Dusche konnte repariert werden, aber beim Licht leider nicht, war aber auch nicht so wichtig, da es eine Tischlampe gab.

Beautiful national park. Not much to do at night but very relaxing. It is a true cabin with basic commodities. A bit overpriced as it is an older place Very friendly staff though. We tried to make the most of the tiny pool.

Great for economical families.

This would be great for families. No frills, but the AC worked well. It was great to have a full kitchen. Service was just delightful and very helpful. A good mid-priced option. Not a lot of restaurant options in the immediate area. No good place for breakfast.

Very comfortable. The only place we stayed in Costa Rica with a swimming pool and TV. The staff was very helpful although most of them spoke Spanish only. Seems to be a favorite for Costa Rican families - a perfect fit. Extremely convenient to the National Park and restaurants. Great air conditioning and a nice kitchen.

LOVED THIS!!!!!!

Our bungalow was awesome. Would have loved to stay for a week. Kitchen was fully equipped I would recommend going to grocery store before you arrive with provisions. Also pool is sweet... slide for kids. Only complaint is that we got there late and didn’t have enough time there

A piece of paradise

We had an excellent 5 night stay at Bungalows Bellena. A beautiful cabin and spectacular grounds. Service was top quality from the staff. The location was just a few minutes from the Whales Tail National Park . Restaurants and tour companies were just a mere 2 minute walk. We are extremely pleased withe whole experience in Uvita.
