"The lighting in the bathroom was not good and while the room was clean, it was not spotless and housekeeping did not come for 3 days although I could have requested it. There was no housekeeping option on the door tag. The television channels were quite limited and movies and room service prices were very high. I would not stay there again. "

"Room was airless and noisy. Neighbors very noisy late. But really it was very stuffy and no blankets and one bad pillow for the sofa bed. Though they arrived quickly once I called. Coffee maker did not work. The room gave off no comfort. "

"The best (and perhaps the only good thing) that can be said about Congress Plaza Hotel is its excellent location at a bargain. There's no AC in rooms, water from the shower is luke warm, rooms have not been renovated since the Bears won a SB (perhaps even earlier). But boy - do you get an excellent location at a great price. So if the plan is to spend the money sightseeing this beautiful city, eat at its wonderfully diverse restaurants and not spend the vacay budget on a hotel (or stay 2 miles and an Uber trip away from everything), then this is your hotel. "
