“The location of this property was great, on the perimeter of downtown Portsmouth which is a wonderful little city. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, both for good selection and the taste. My biggest complaint is that it was very noisy in my room. The AC unit is the loudest I've ever heard. A few times I thought it was a nearby train when it started running. Also the people in the room above me woke me up at 1 AM doing something. I didn't hear voices...

“The hotel was in an excellent location for easy walking to many of the attractions in Portsmouth NH. The rest is not so good! I booked this hotel for our 47th anniversary thinking that its harbor side location with views was romantic. The booking and pre visit communication was good yet we received no hotel entrance instructions until I called upon arriving at the hotel. There was no elevator access to the second story hotel entrance and a difficult climb for two 70 year olds up 20 steep...

“This was a great hotel. Location was fantastic. We were able to park the car in the parking lot at no charge and walk everywhere. The staff was super nice and amazing. The rooms were clean and spacious and the breakfast of bagels and coffee were perfect.”

“My room was not as clean as I was hoping. There was still leftover stuff on the stove that I scrubbed off. The pans and stuff all had this weird film to it even after I washed it. The cups didn’t feel or look super clean and my sheets and pillow had little hairs on it. Although I asked for new sheets those had hair too so I shook everything off and tried to move on. The room itself was great and super spacious just felt like it overall could’ve been cleaner. Even the carpet seemed a little old....

“For the price it was decent for a quick passing through. Room was clean but had off putting smell about it. Pool was not maintained. There seemed to be multiple more permanent residents living at the motel that were hanging out smoking outside our door. Friendly but off putting.”
