"friendly, helpful staff, excellent food, great location"

"Staff really friendly Decorated very nicely but not that practical for a long stay Food ok Bit noisy with dogs in the room above and our room above pub door entrance Woke up at 7:15AM to maintenance on a cherry picker repairing external light Unfortunate drain stale water smell in ensuite"

Can't say enough good things, would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Alnwick."

"Amazing inn with super attentive staff. Highly recommend!"

"A lovely hotel with a lively bar and restaurant. Rooms was small and the shower smaller but as a one night stop off, adequate. Superb ales and great food offering. All staff were lovely"
