The view was heavenly. Rooms a bit small only a curtain to separate bedroom from lounge. Not many kitchen facilities. Small tv. In short the location a small piece of paradise but motel a bit lacking in some places.

The view is amazing! Lovely large lounge/kitchen area. The bed was very comfortable. Owners were very accommodating. We had our boat & the owners moved their vehicle so as we could park in their spot! Thank you so much team.

We found this a very peaceful, relaxing place to stay. The garden, sea aspect, and bird-life made this a lovely location. We also really appreciated being able to have our little dog with us. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location overlooking a beautiful calm bay and only 10 minutes drive Akaroa. There’s also a great Pub next door. The room had everything we needed and it was very peaceful 👍

Motel with a great view

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room had a nice view, the bathroom was new and everthing was very clean. We had a great time and would definately come back.

Brilliant stay in a beautiful location

Immediately was made to feel very welcome and the hotel team were incredibly helpful in helping to adjust some plans. The room itself is fantastic, with excellent views on to the seafront. Easy to find, easy to park, beautiful scenery, incredibly helpful host, couldn’t ask for more. Very highly recommended.

The property is showing some age but this is made up by the staff. The rooms are spacious and clean. Isn’t only a 10min drive from Akaroa which has plenty of food choices.

Lovely location on foreshore Some facilities limited self catering .eg no bench cook top (but good micro wave ), no proper dish rack and very limited utensils . Nice gardens but need a spruce up .. loved the resident bellbird !

A good base for exploring the Banks Peninsula

Check in very easy and friendly. The room was well prepared and very clean. The essentials were all there. The rooms are a little tired but perfectly acceptable. The information booklet with the room was very helpful. The view from the bedroom and main room windows is superb. Would happily stay there again.

Lovely apartment.

Lovely little place in super quiet location. Nicely laid out little apartment with separate bedroom and bathroom from living area. A small bedside table or shelf might be an idea to save reaching down to the floor to turn the alarm clock off on your phone. Fantastic hosts that dished us up some slices of their own cake as they felt sorry for us dining on microwave meals. Top stuff!
