This property cancelled my reservation on 2 different locations due to having no water service. They offered an alternative hotel, in a different location both times. The first time, I accepted the alternative, which was very nice. The second time, I did not because I wanted to be close to this location. They refused to refund my stay.
No puedo dar mi opinión sobre EL MAR HOTEL porque cuando llegamos nos lo encontramos cerrado a cal y canto. Tras muchas vueltas por la zona, contactamos con el teléfono del establecimiento y nos dijeron que habían tenido un problema con el agua, pero que nos reubicarían en otro hotel. Esto fue bastante rápido. Nos enviaron al HOTEL OLIVE, que aunque cumplió nuestras expectativas se encontraba bastante alejado de la zona que habíamos escogido originalmente.
Intenté comunicarme con Hoteles.com a través de la app y me resultó muy complicado, aunque finalmente un agente me dijo a través del chat que lo investigarían. A día de hoy, nadie ha contactado conmigo para darme algún tipo de explicación.
Si nos hubieran avisado del problema anticipadamente, al menos nos habrían ahorrado el susto inicial. No es plato de gusto llegar, después de horas de viaje y con dos niños, a un hotel en el que tienes una reserva y encontrártelo cerrado sin información de ningún tipo. Y ante un caso así, creo que la responsabilidad directa es de Hoteles.com, ya que es el agente a través del cual he reservado el alojamiento y quien debía haberme informado y ofrecido soluciones ANTICIPADAMENTE para evitarnos el lógico disgusto y la tremenda pérdida de tiempo. Nunca me había ocurrido nada parecido y, desde luego, dudo que con Hoteles.com vuelva a ocurrirme.
