“Stairs to the rooms were quite steep but the room was great. Comfortable bed and lovely to have fresh milk and homemade cookies. Unfortunately the shower could do with some attention as water was really slow to run away.Good selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Could do with either cleaning or replacing the carpet on stairs and landing as it’s very stained and does them no favours in terms of appearance. Overall great stay and would recommend.”

“It’s an old property with lots of character uneven floors and lots of steps it’s lovely and clean although rooms are a bit dated and some quite small has some outside rooms with private entrances We had a shower over a bath which may be difficult for some one elderly to use so I’d specify if you have any specific needs The food was good basic pub grub and breakfast was excellent Parking is easy and free for residents just make sure you register your number plate when you arrive The hotel is...

“We had a great stay here. The room was quiet and spacious, with plenty of storage plus a table and 2 bucket chairs as well as a dressing table and chair. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was bright with a good sized shower including a rainfall as well as a shower hose. The breakfast was also excellent. The staff were helpful too.”
