"The ambiance here is true San Antonio. Stay here if you prefer charming hotels over sleek modern hotels. I felt like I was a guest at a large home. The staff are the friendliest I have met. Breakfast was good. The location is good also. Nice part of the river—busy but not too noisy. Get a higher floor if sound bothers you though but get a river view-worth it."

"Our room was moved from the original booking room. The room we were moved to was old and outdated, the beds were terrible, the bathroom tiny and we had to listen loud thumping music until after midnight from the bar downstairs. To enter our room we had to go through a large area that is used for convention gatherings requiring us to walk through all of the people that were having a pre dinner gathering. Worst hotel of our trip. Then upon checkout we weee charged a destination fee in addition to the overpriced parking fee. Beyond ridiculous "
