Our time at the Atlantic
Well the 1st night was fine, unfortunately we had to stay until Sunday on Saturday the plumbing backed up everywhere, the owners were not here the handyman was in charge, I said I wanted another room, he came back and said ok it’s on the 2nd floor, my wife is handicapped no elevator. I said what about the room teo doors down, he responded that that’s a More expensive room! I said BFD it’s your plumbing inconveniencing is! Not real happy be glad when tomorrow comes.

Atlantic Hotel
Our stay was very comfortable. This is an older motel but very well kept up. The room was clean and inviting. It is directly off I495 but very quiet. Did not hear any traffic at all. Close to dining and gas stations. We arrived late at night and the owner was very pleasant and helpful.

To start, the owner at the front desk very rude about us booking our room through Expedia. There was confusion about the payment, as I believed I payed through Expedia, and he would not let me explain the misunderstanding. I attempted to hand him my credit card and he would not take it, stating that I need to go call Expedia. I was speaking and he looked over me to start taking other customers when we were not even checked in. He was rude and extremely unprofessional. When settled, he handed us a room key for a room with 2 Queen beds and when I stated that I booked the 1 King room ahead of time, he told us that we should “feel lucky”. Upon entering the room, it was absolutely not worth the $200 that was just spent. It was a non-smoking room that reeked of stale cigarettes, it was dirty, and absolutely infested with bugs. There were gnats all over the walls, bugs crawling on the bed, pincher bugs on the walls and in the bathroom. We were so horrified by how many bugs were surrounding our every move that we had to leave in the middle of the night and travel home. It was extremely unsanitary and disturbing to spend that type of money on such an awful environment. Will never return and I urge others to not even give it a chance because you will regret wasting your money there.

This is a nice little no-frills place to stay. The staff are polite and welcoming, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for our needs. If you are looking for a nice place to sleep while you explore the area, this is an excellent choice.

Nice for a quick stay
The room was a typical hotel room. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave. There is also a small table with two chairs. The bed was comfortable. The location is off one of the main roads and is near several activities.

Second time I reviewed. Rooms smelled terrible. Like cigarette smoke and pesticide. I didn’t even try to get my money back. Had to get out of there quickly. My kids were mortified. Ended up going to another hotel. Hard tobelieve the Atlantic is one of your choices. I expect more from Expedia and will not use you guys again

Like stepping into the 70's
It's fine if you need to crash, manager was nice, place was quiet. But it's very outdated. I had to keep my socks on because the floors were so old. Smelled like my grandparent's house. Bedding was pretty ancient. I wouldn't bring a family here unless you're desperate.

Excellent service!
Basic, clean, comfortable motel. The manager went out of his way to be accommodating and provide excellent service, which was most appreciated by me and my friend. Would definitely stay here again!

Bates motel looking.
Too scary to approach. No lights. No cars. Seedy area. We were forced to leave and try and another place to sleep. I am out all the money I spent to not stay there. Would appreciate a refund and for you folks to re-evaluate this place. Thanks

It had a bed and a shower
This place is dated but the room was clean. The shower had good pressure. I stayed here as I had an event to attend at the Elks lodge around the corner and did not want to drive home. It had a fridge and microwave in the room. It had a TV which I never turned on. It also had free wifi which I did not use extensively (Netflix or videos etc). Nothing fancy here. If you just need a place to crash this is the place for you.

Fall Time stay at The Atlantic Motel.
The non smoking room was filled with the smell of smoke. I started sneezing soon as we entered the room. It was a Saturday night, and there was some yelling out doors This was between the hours of 12 and 1am.. A few people hanging out side in the parking area.

Room clean, however you had to go to office for ice, 1 bucket per room, no soda machines, pool you couldn't tell if it was for the motel or the owners house. Near the 3rd set of stairs where the 2nd floor landing is one of the supports on the corner for the 2nd floor deck, had been hit and not supporting the deck at all unsafe. NOT IMPRESSED for $110.00

The heat was shi?!y and hardly worked. Certainly overpriced at 100 bucks a night.

The Atlantic is a small place conveniently located for the Wareham area. It's not the greatest milieu, though it offers a quiet respite from the surrounding crossroads. For us, it was a completely serviceable place, clean, friendly staff, and had what we needed. The Atlantic offers an honest place for honest money, and that's hard to beat!

Overall the hotel was clean. There was no coffee pot for the machine, the tv didn't work and hopefully you won't need a lot of ice. It is monitored. This was a great location though, right on the main road and close to where the wedding was we were attending.

Overpriced for Location!!
Desk clerk who was owner was rude, place was overpriced, they tried to charge me for a 3rd person in the room and it had 2 queen size beds! Also I asked if they had a cot if my daughter came and he said for $45. Room was advertised for $229 a night and ended up being $265 with tax! Pool was gross, location terrible and I would never recommend it to anyone!

AWFUL
Although the signs on the front of the rooms state "no smoking" clearly that rule is not enforced since the room smelled like a dirty ashtray & the carpet had cigarette burns all over it. As soon as the sun came up we were out of there. beds were hard as a rock. The remote control was filthy. Since it was summer the window was closed and the air conditioner was on but the dial was broken so there was no adjusting the temp. Nevertheless, we all woke up with sore throats from the smoky air.

We have Serta Perfect sleeper beds in most rooms and pillow top Sealy in some. None of them are hard. We respect your view. If you are in the area again, please stop in we will make your stay comfortable.

over prized motel
We stayed there because it was the only thing available in the area. It was very over prized for a motel. It could use some improvements on the outside to make it look more inviting. The room was clean. OK for an emergency.

Great little weekend getaway
This is a great little hotel for a simple landing spot for amenities in the area. It provides what it says, and the hotel was in pretty good condition! We visited in the cold, so it wasn't 'pool season,' but there is one, and it's gated off for the protection of kids which I always think is a plus! Perfectly reasonable accommodations, and we'll probably choose this again the next time we're in the area!

Hotel near the Mass Maritme Academy
A very basic but clean motle. It has a pool, which if it had not been winter, would have been a plus. It was easy to find and very convenient to restaurants, shopping and the Mass Maritime Academy

Good location for the price
It was conveniently close to our relatives who live in the area and the price was right. Friendly staff, nice pool (although no shady area). Only disappointment was not being able to arrange a one-hour late checkout.
