I took a solo trip and picked the perfect spot. This family owned inn is great for a family trip, a romantic getaway, or for a quiet escape by yourself. The owners are such a welcoming family and made me feel very like VIP. I will be going back and recommend Sandaway to anyone looking for that getaway in the Eastern Shore. Absolutely no complaints about our stay. Allowed an early time to check in and a hour late check out. Quiet place right on the boardwalk far enough away from public parking that it wasn’t crowded. If there is any complaint it would be minimum parking to where the overflow parking gets completely full that we were lucky to even get a spot in there. I wouldn’t even call that a complaint, just find your spot and that’s that. Balcony was spacious for us to play card games late night with 6-8 people....

This little gated community of cottages is amazing. It’s such a quiet little place with a nice clean pool and laundry access. The gm Brooks and super intendant Josh are very welcoming and super helpful. Also only 10 minute drive from boardwalk/ beach. Definitely recommend this place !!

The Lighthouse Hotel is very nice with large suites and a beautiful view of the bay. You can walk to the beach or to many great area restaurants and nightclubs. I loved the nightly turn down service. The staff lights candles, leaves breakfast for you & puts chocolates on the pillows.

Stayed for my wife’s birthday beginning of April, the weather wasn’t so great. But have only complaint and its about the bed, it would sink towards the middle. But other than that it was amazing. The view was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the edge the riviera suite.

I stayed here for a quick overnight and did not utilize many of the amenities however, the staff was incredibly kind overall and with tips on dinner. This place is historic, which is a nice way of saying old but classic. Don’t expect a huge room, the photos portray the room accurately. Some things were a little rickety, but everything was clean. Overall I recommend this if you’re solo or a couple looking for a place as you enjoy the bay.

I had a complaint in regards of the service and supplies provided. I did travel with my Pet and understand is hard for the room service to come in when the pet is inside the room, but when we will leave the dirty towels out there were no replacements left, and we had to keep calling the front for new towels and the front staff were not always helpful.
