“We had a wonderful stay at Talta Lodge. The grounds were beautiful, and the river was a peaceful place to relax. The complimentary morning coffee was a great way to start each day. Our room was cleaned daily, and we really enjoyed spending time on the balcony, taking in the natural surroundings and listening to the birds. “This place is a hidden gem. The hotel has spacious and clean rooms. Our air conditioning worked just great ( in fact it got so cool at night that we had to shut the ac off in the morning). “It was very cute however there was a few misconceptions shown online. For one there wasn’t any indication it was right off the road. The pictures online show it to be tucked in the woods. I also was confused when I checked in to realize we weren’t staying the in the cabin we were staying in a motel room. The pictures all showed a cabin. “Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. ”
