Room was clean, but the place is loud. Doors slamming all night. Soundproofing is bad. You can hear people walking all night, people on the streets talking. Slept with the tv on to drown out some of the noise.

Laundry services was broken my entire 2 week+ stay and the company or staff refused to fix it also advertising laundry services but not have 1 or 2 machines for the entire hotel is a huge joke. The free breakfast was lacking and half of it , bring the waffle maker was out of service aswell, not to mention the elevators going out of service aswell.

Room was clean, beds super comfortable, which is important. Hotel is worn and dated - you get what you pay for. Staff was wonderful. However, if you are booking for the breakfast, don' t bother. I never saw a piece of fruit. The yogurt and eggs were doled out sparingly. Never enough for the people there. Thats a management issue. I would book again for a budget place to crash, but thats about it.

Rooms were clean, breakfast room was small and full of people with only one person manning it. Not a lot of amenities in room, just shampoo, conditioner and dove soap. Room felt small but well kept, if a little worn. Definitely not a luxury hotel but good enough to sleep.

Bed was sunken in real bad, drunks fighting in hall ways at 4 in the morning, kids running bk and forth late. Alcohol cans left in pool area . They don’t make sure u have enough Kleenex in bathrooms had to ask for some and clean towels. Did not take full garbage cans out . Cheap price for rooms but they are according to how the hotel is , cheap

Room was clean, pillows didn’t feel like pillows anymore. Thankful for free breakfast but don’t expect too much. They have waffles, bread, cereals, sometimes they have boiled eggs or yogurt. Overall, hotel was ok for an inexpensive price.

Yes , quality for dollar value poor , front desk extremely poor, conditions of property below standards, house keeping poor couldn’t even make the bed properly. If that wasn’t enough overcharged me on check out. Would never recommend anyone at this travel lodge and your poor advertising of this location! Disappointed when they have security guard outside at night because of surroundings should have been mentioned and finally the breakfast was a joke we got there and they were afraid to put bread out for people to take extra. My score on ratings - one star simple . Totally ruined my stay for my wife birthday surprise.

Door was locked somehow from inside, had to wait 30 min for someone to come help, we were evacuated at 230 am because of a fire that happened in first floor and we went home because we couldn't get back into our second room and our main room smelled awful of smoke and burnt plastic. I went back the day to grab our remaining stuff and our main room was terrible for the smell of smoke. No refund or compensation, wouldn't recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel. Food was overpriced and not great either

First of all the staff at the front desk wasn't cery welcoming. We booked from Friday night to Sunday morning and the entire Saturday night into Sunday morning we had no water in the entire hotel. Imagine how uncomfortable that was. Couldn't use the toilets or have a shower. Outside of that, the curtain in the room was old and ragged with tears and holes looking like they were burnt. Our face basin was always clogged and took forever for the water to drain. At breakfast it was continental so not much but the waffles and pancake maker didn't work.

Our room where we stayed smell smoke, carpet a bit dirty, bathroom smell smoke! Bathtub faucet not working very good, thankfully they changed new faucet, which iis great! Swimming pools,slide and hot tub were great, kids enjoyed!

Unfortunately, our stay at Travelodge by Wyndham Edmonton West was far from pleasant. We were abruptly woken up by loud banging on the door of the room next to us due to a medical wellness check for another guest. While we understand emergencies happen, it was very disruptive and unsettling early in the morning. The pool was completely unavailable because it was booked for a children’s birthday party, which was not communicated to us in advance. This was disappointing, as the pool was one of the amenities we were hoping to use. At check-in, we were only given one breakfast ticket, despite being more than one guest. Additionally, there were no tissues in the room when we arrived. We informed the front desk and were told it would be brought up, but it never was; we didn’t receive tissues until the next morning. To make matters worse, the water was off from the time we checked in until after 9:00 a.m. the next morning. This meant the toilet was unusable, and we were unable to wash our hands, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel stay. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience. Between the lack of communication, unavailable amenities, basic room supplies missing, and no running water, this was a horrible stay. I would not recommend this location based on our experience.

Staffs was very good. 1st night I arrived late, hotel was fully booked. So the only room left was by the elevator. A bit noisy with the elevator up and down plus there is some heavy base music going till late around 1:00am. So I couldn't sleep well. I asked to switched to different tower on the 3rd day for the rest my total 5 nights staying. But it was worst. The room was away from the elevator which is good. But there were a few families living around my room on the same floor was the so noisy all day all nights. Kids running around once in awhile all day all night. People come and go in and out of the different rooms with doors closing pound everytimes come and go. Dogs barking once in awhile days and nights. On the last night staying was the worst. It was New Year's Eve, I was a bit sick with a cold. Took a NeoCitran trying to get a good sleep. But with the kids running and people come and go every hour with door slammed noises. Then finally able to felt asleep a bit with putting my earphones on. But @ 2:00am o'clock the fire alarm went off, the hotel 1st and 2nd floor was on fire and I can smell it on the 5th floor. That time I realized had to get up and run outside. But the temperature was -25°C outside. Luckyly firefighter came and contained the fire and we able to go back in after couple hours. Back to the room took a few hours sleep with a bit smoky smell. Checked out early in the morning with an 8hours long drive back home to Prince George, BC. What a worst holiday!

This hotel is a dump. The pictures are deceiving. The pool is disgusting, hot tub is cold and the water slide is broken. This is not a water park. There was a fire in our tower, I had to move rooms because my first wouldn’t lock and there were people smoking cigarettes and drugs visibly in the property. I cannot believe I brought my children here with these safety concerns.

Cleanliness was okay, and some of the staff were okay as well — but unfortunately, our overall experience was very disappointing. We had a major issue with water shortages. On Saturday afternoon, we were out at the mall and returned to the hotel at night, then went straight to the pool. When we finally went back to our room, we realized there was no running water at all. We contacted the front desk and were told it would be back within a few hours. However, the water did not return until the next day around 7 a.m. To make matters worse, we were told it was a city-wide issue, which later turned out to be untrue. That dishonesty was extremely frustrating — guests should have been informed properly instead of being misled. At one point, we explained that we urgently needed to use the toilet, and the only advice given was to “use it anyway and just leave it,” which was honestly gross and unacceptable. Many other guests were also complaining that day, yet we still had to pay in full and did not receive any compensation, partial refund, or even a proper apology for the inconvenience. Overall, it was a stressful and unpleasant experience. I would recommend staying away from this hotel — if you can spend a little more, it’s definitely worth choosing somewhere else.
