โWe loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. I fear future B&Bs may be ruined for me as this was my first time experiencing a true B&B experience and any future...
โIt was a nice room with comfortable bed, big fridge and microwave, nice TV, easy check in. The only thing I didn't like was that the toilet was very short, similar to those in elementary schoold, which made it challenging to get up and down. Otherwise, it was a good budget hotel.โ
โIf you love old America, this is your place. The hotel, place, people everything about this place I loved. Donโt go if you donโt like old America.โ
โThe location was perfect, if you replaced the matress and pillows you will have happier customers. I recommend a different color of towels, they look dirty and dingy. โ
โThe room was quiet, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Easy on and off the freeway, yet not so close it could be heard. The owners are obviously in the process of remodeling the property, but the room we had had been very nicely redone. We appreciated the one story. โ
โEverything was great, but the main city has become run down with homeless about, lots of construction. Hotel was on the outskirts which felt safer and access is key-only which was nice. Sadly Eureka has become a nasty city in general.โ
โI had a fantastic time at the Hydrangea Inn! I rented the Bungalow and it was adorable and quiet. Breakfast on the two days of my stay was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.โ
โA gem in the midst file of Redwoods. We were not expecting the level of detail in making the room comfortable for tbd guest. The whole place is well thought ouโ
