"Excellent hotel , great staff. Only stayed b&b but couldn't fault it. Only slight negative was the pool was getting refurbished the week after our stay. So there was lots of black stains but once the pool is back in use it will be superb again. Pool and bar drinks were reasonable Pint 6 euro wine 6 euro soft drinks 4 euro Got an ocean view room which didnt disappoint Would recommend this hotel"

"Great hotel and breakfast. Location is ideal next to the beach but not too far from the golden mile. Close enough without hearing much of the noise. Breakfast selection was great and pianist entertainment during breakfast is also great. Pool & pool area well maintained. Not too busy, plenty of beds and pool snack bar also nice. All round great visit!"

"We had a fantastic stay at the Hard rock hotel. The facilities were excellent 3 very good pools with plenty of beds and music. The entertainment on the evening’s was very good but it only lasted an hour, and the drinks were very very expensive. The rooms were very modern and the cleaning was spotless, but we did have have a cockroach in our room on one occasion. "The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the shower and bath had good pressure and temperature. The location of the hotel was perfect, away from the high-traffic tourist areas but still only a few minutes away from local beaches, shops and restaurants. Our favorite part was having drinks and relaxing by the pool. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast buffet had a good variety to chose from. Made to order egg omelets, fried eggs, crepes and waffles, plenty of fruits, juices, pastries, etc. as you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would come back without hesitation. Now the minor things which I would improve: Toilet paper is the thinnest kind - I would expect something a bit more premium. The strawberries in cocktails and topping for crepes are frozen, I would expect fresh strawberries. The tv in our room didn’t have streaming apps and chromecast didn’t work / password wasn’t in the room. The elevators were dated, especially the one to the parking garage, it would open doors multiple times and drop a bit when a person would get in. The live music was great but ran a bit late for my liking, (until 11pm) ."

"We have returned to the Abama to celebrate our anniversary. We have had a wonderful stay and have received nothing but exceptional service in all departments. A special mention to Fran and Isabelle who recovered my husband’s luggage with his medication as the wrong case was off loaded. Sorted out clothes for him and collected the case on our behalf from the airport. On our arrival cava and a sumptuous cake awaited us in our room. We had a lovely meal at the El Mirador on our anniversary with a personalised desert . I can’t thank the staff enough for a very memorable evening. We stayed in the adults only retreat which I can highly recommend,peaceful attentive pool staff who repositioned the parasol throughout the day and served drinks. The retreat facilities were lovely as were all the staff. Thank you to Iria for her kindness on our last day. Breakfast staff Tamara, Fabian, Adrienne, Elizabeth, Laura thank you for your cheery welcome and for knowing our names from the moment of our arrival. A visit you won’t forget and I am looking forward to our next stay. Excellent cocktails."
