“This is an excellent property for short, and especially, long stays. The host is very helpful to guide us to the property and walked us through all the facilities the property can provide. There is an onsite staff through most of the day that provide the security and the convenience during our stay. It's worth all of the money we paid for the stay and I strongly recommend it to everybody.”

“The Manager Liz was brilliant. Sammy a member of their staff was simply great. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool and beautiful gardens. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food variety is basic but cooked well and hygienic. We had a great time and they really looked after us. We can only say a big thank you and we look forward to staying with you again.”

“My wife and I stayed at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge for four nights in December 2025. We loved every minute of it. The room was spacious and comfortable, the food was good (buffet style, full board) and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We are birders and saw many good species in the immediate vicinity of the lodge. Full-day or half-day 'game drives' are also an option.”

“The peopeety is new So the rooms are very clean However, there are some basic rhings they need to make sure they prepare. Rooms have no floor rugs, Do not Disturb signs and the shower curtains in.the bathroom are too short, which makes the bathroom wet. Tje building needs to jave exit signs installed for safety. Overall i was happy with the place. There was no noise and the staff were vwey pleasant”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us practice our Swahili. We ate dinner and breakfast at the in house restaurant which was delicious. Our room was great and had everything we needed. We were also able to park in the reserved hotel parking out the front and the security helped us with our bags too. We had a great stay here and will hopefully be back next time we visit Nakuru!”

“We enjoyed our stay at Sleepway Cottages, but we were without internet, that was advertised to be working, for 4 days which was a very scary time for our family back in the states who could not get in touch with us. Our stay would have been better if we had dependable internet and toilet seats on the commode. Also, we made the reservations for 5 people and when we arrived the rooms were not side by side but there was a room in between ours and our children which was a little scary.”
