“Saw this place on hotel.com and thought I’d give it a whirl. It sits in a beautiful small town called Belleview.IA with lots of parks and access to the river and tons of shops and diners just a short walk away. Although the staff is off site they are super friendly, honest and pretty knowledgeable about the area which is great for first time visitors. “Since it was the Marriott the property has really improved. There is a bar now and a sumptuous breakfast was served. There is now an elevator where there wasn't one before. The beds are quite comfortable and there is housekeeping each day. The staff was quite courteous, except the checkout person was quite cold. i wanted to talk about our great stay but I don't think I would have been too well received. ”
