“First and foremost, this is an old, restored motor hotel. The owners have done a great job, but this is not a Hilton. (BTW, owners/managers were very nice). Rooms are very small. My room had two double beds, one chair and no table. Bathroom was tiny, but efficient. Good shower. Comfortable bed. They had a very nice outdoor pool which was being utilized when I arrived. The only complaints I have were the curtain in the room and the noise. The curtain was not good in filtering out light...
“We had an amazing visit to Echo Bluff State Park. The room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The restaurant served delicious food, the smoked ribs were outstanding. We enjoyed hiking in the area.
Our only constructive feedback would be that the receptionist should know where hiking trails or other resources are. We asked for information and she said she didn't know. We found another guest who provided information.”
