A nice, serviceable hotel in downtown Erie for a fraction of the price to stay on the bayfront. Easy to use parking garage. I've stayed here twice on trips to Erie. If you need a good, clean place to stay The Avalon works well.

Great stay.

This hotel is right in downtown Erie. We went to a concert at the Warner Theater (right across the street) so it was really convenient. The area also has some good bars and restaurants within walking distance. Parking in the hotels underground garage was also free and easy. Although the hotel is older and isn’t as modern looking, the room was clean and the bed & pillows were comfortable! The clerks on shift for checkin and checkout were very pleasant. I'd stay here again!

Spacious room

Comfortable bed, good shower, and refrigerator, that's all we needed. Room very spacious. Furniture and walls could use some updating. Parking easy and no extra cost .

Spacious hotel. Wonderful that the manager upgraded the room. Hotel seem like years ago it might’ve been a really great place. It’s past its prime. Certainly wouldn’t take much to bring it back.
