The rooms were very clean and comfy. Made you feel like you were home and not in a stuffy hotel room. You could open the windows, let your door open and sit outside. The pool is very close to all rooms and had lots of lounge chairs and a covered gazebo to sit at. We will definitely stay there again!!

Great stay for the price. Parking was readily available. Had any amenity I needed. Staff was polite and helpful. Clean! I would recommend it to anyone who likes an older Mom and Pop motel style. The breakfast was a bit lacking, but was available.

Very reasonable rates. Room and bathroom and AC were all great. Bathrooms look newly done. Nice family running the place. The outside is very motel like and the front desk could use a redo… but worth the money. They have a little free breakfast w cereal waffle maker fruit donuts etc which was just fine!

Outdoor heated pool was lovely, but, the intakes could have been cleaner. Could use some fresh paint on the exterior as it looks rough, but easy access to rooms and there were updates. Bed was comfortable. Overall cleanliness was not bad, just some mold around rubber intake in the sink. Close to a noisy road, but not too busy at night. Air conditioner ran well. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Great motel. Was able to park and unload 5 feet from the door. Windows were able to be open. Bathroom was updated. Less than a 5 minute drive to the beach plus shopping close by. Comfy beds and lots of surface space in the room so nothing had to sit on the floor.

We really liked the pool. And the included breakfast was so good. We didn't like very noisy guests, right nextdoor.4th of July isn't a good weekend to go there, if your older & don't care for alot of noise.

Property is showing its age, peeling paint everywhere. Garden they brag about was full of weeds and garbage. Breakfast? No. Pool water didn't look clean enough to go in. Shower floor looked awful, I refused to stand on it. Bed and pillows were clean and comfy. I left a day early and didn't even ask for my money back.

Room was very clean. Motel style was perfect for my family's travel as we visited the local "beach" . Location was perfect, although I did notice being able to hear the cars pass by, it's a busier road than i thought. Not a deal breaker for us. Nice pool, decent breakfast provided. Heads up it feel like a BB style, 3 large dining tables. My kids loved the waffles you could make. Basic light breakfast cereal, muffins, mini donuts, fruit and waffles. All in all I would stay here again.

The Glass House is an older motel with upgraded rooms that are simple in furnishings and decor but clean and comfortable with all expected necessities. The location was excellent for us—less than 10 minutes to Presque Isle and about 10 to downtown Erie. Basic breakfast. Outdoor pool looked nice. Property well kept although exterior could use a fresh coat of paint. Would stay here again.

I had never vacationed at Erie before but will be returning any time I can! The Glass House was perfect for our family! It was clean, served breakfast, and had an outdoor heated pool. Everything we came in contact with was well maintained and clean. The bathroom had been renovated and was very nice! It was perfect for our stay. I liked that it was family run and it almost felt like a B&B. I prefer staying at small town family run hotels and this was exactly what we were looking for! We stayed 3 nights and wished we could have extended our stay. It is extremely close to Presque Isle beaches, Waldameer, lots of restaurants and we found a great chocolate store called Romolo! Each night we watched the sunset at the beach and stopped at Sarah’s for their ice cream!

The staff were very friendly and helpful! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and seemed recently renovated. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean. No frills breakfast was included. Overall, one quick night’s stay with kind staff and clean bathroom was what we needed.
