Great location and service in Ibis size rooms
Great location near the university with excellent staff and everything you can need. I had really friendly helpful service both at the front desk and in the bar/restaurant. The rooms are not large, especially the bath, but it is perfectly adequate for a short stay and the location cannot be beat. There is no parking on site, and the pay lights are somewhat expensive but if you’re willing to park on the University campus it is cheaper.

Friendly team good breakfast would appreciate a small fridge in the room and tea /coffee facilities. Mattress very odd doesn’t fit the bed frame and super thin but comfortable nevertheless. Parking is a challenge perhaps a deal with the Belval plaza would be a good idea to set up.

The pillow is awful. Like sleeping on a rock and that is coming from someone who is not picky and can sleep anywhere. The room STUNK of cigarettes. Bathroom nice. Would have been be if it were not for the above

Best Ibis I have stayed in - it really a step up. Very clean and comfortable , right in the middle of Belval, close to the station. Staff really went out of their way to assit me when needed.

Good location across from shopping plaza and right next to Rockhal and a train station. The lighting in the room would flicker when turned on though and the bed would slide across the floor if you sat up and leaned against the wall.

You know what you get with Ibis.
I thorooughly enjoyed my stay. I was quiet and clean. Breakdfast was good (especially the waffle machine) and check in/out was quick and smooth.

Conveniently located
Good hotel overall. It is conveniently located with Rockhal, Belval station, a shopping mall, restaurants and bars, a grocery store and France all being on a walking distance away from the hotel. The staff people were friendly, and the WI-FI quality was very good. Strongly recommended if you would like to attend a concert at Rockhal and explore the surrounding area.

Close proximity to train, bus and shopping. My husband and I enjoyed travelling to Trier, Germany for Saturday shopping; easy access to Metz and Nancy, France for a day trip; and train ride to Arlon, Belgium.

A reasonable efficient business stay hotel.
The hotel is nothing fancy but it’s not pretending to be. What it is is very efficient, check in and out no hassle, breakfast decent standard, rooms clean and bed is comfortable enough. For a non fussy business traveller it does the job. The local area has a number of eating and drinking options. It’s not a busy area and lacks atmosphere but the options are good and it’s ever expanding.

Hotel is good enough and perfect if you need to be in this part of Luxembourg, for example Business or a concert at the Rockhal. But not good if you want to be close to the city centre.

Hotel check-in and check-out was smooth. Staff was helpful as needed but did not go above and beyond. The area was lovely. Room did not have AC as advertised. Also every time we left the hotel our key card to the room would deactivate and we’d need to request a new one daily. Room was small but pleasant, bathroom was acceptable. Overall would recommend for the deal.

Good enough but far from Luxembourg City
The hotel is good enough - no frills, clean and with multi-lingual friendly staff. The town in which the hotel is situated is a suburban area with not much except for the steel factory and a small shopping centre, quite a long distance away from Luxembourg city centre. Usually, it would be a train ride into Luxembourg but in my case, the trains were not working (April 2018), so it takes a replacement bus ride followed by a train ride just to get into Luxembourg city centre!

Avoid like the plague
Room felt like a prison cell. Just a bed and walls. Noise in the room was awful with the sound of water being heated all night, this drone went in 24 hrs a day. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows were pure flacid rubbish. If you want something to eat it's frozen pizzas or nothing, discovered this when I ordered a "pizza Maison" and staff informed me there was none left..!! One member of staff was the receptionist, the bar man and the cook. I have stayed in multiple hotels throughout Europe and this one wins hands down for being the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. This is the fist negative review I've ever made on any hotel. Usually if it's bad I write nothing, but this one was so bad i felt compelled to leave a review. Avoid if you can, I wouldn't want anyone to suffer what I went through

Parking ticket outside hotel spoiled trip.
We stayed in this hotel to attend a football match between our local Welsh team and Differdange in the first round of the European league.The hotel was close to the train station and only a few stops from the stadium.Unfortunately we did not realise that it is in the middle of a new complex which is still being built, so it did resemble a building site in places.The hotel is modern and clean as it is obviously very new and there are several places toeat close by which were of a good standard.The Belval shopping plaza is opposite.Our main gripe was that there is no free parking near to the hotel.We were informed by one member of hotel staff that we could park opposite the hotel in the shaded areas.We did this and went out for the day.When we came back we had a parking ticket for €49!We asked for help on how to pay the fee as we were due to leave the next day.This involved driving into the main town to find the post office.This all added to the stress of organising this ad well as driving g back to Dunkirk in time for our ferry.We were not impressed and this spoilt what should have been an enjoyable visit to Luxembourg.

Decent hotel, overpriced
Very pleasant stay in air-conditioned room near food ans the train station. No complaints except that it was too much money. But I was booking late during a busy week and there weren't other attractive options. For one night, it was very good.
