"Just home from a great 2-night break at Hodson Bay. We had a lovely lake view room which was really comfortable and spacious. Superb meal in the restaurant on second evening. We got a taxi into Athlone on the first. Great pool area also. Great for couples and families and we hope to be back."
"The Annebrook House Hotel is situated in the center of Mullingar Town which means that shops, pubs and restaurants are all within a couple of minutes walk.
The staff were excellent - kind and helpful. My room had a balcony which was a huge bonus given that the outside temperature was in the mid 20's. The room itself was very comfortable. I slept with the balcony door open as there is no a/c in the room. The only issue I had (which to be fair was a minor one) was that as I had the balcony door open all night I couldn't close the curtains so had the balcony light on all night.
Breakfast was excellent.
Overall I was very impressed with the Annebrook House Hotel and will stay there on my next visit to Mullingar."
