“We had a wonderful stay at Ficahlo. The house and grounds are beautiful, and the family and staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were kept spotless and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in seeing the area. ”

“This property is about 10 mins walk to the restaurants & convenience store. The shared washroom needs more attention in cleanliness & renovations needed. When we were there, about 11 people (3 rooms) shared the same washroom and it was a busy morning. ”

“Property was traditional farm cottage style. I loved the fact you had access to a kitchen where tea and coffee were readily available, and a comfortable lounge. Breakfast was served in a lovely garden among the trees. Only negative factor was you had to drive everywhere due to country location of property.”

“We stayed at Chiado 44 for 2 nights. When we arrived the staff helped with our luggage right away and put it in our room for us. They helped orient us to the city and offered coffee etc. The room was very clean, had a little balcony and the shower was great with great water pressure. The hotel is located in the Chiado area up on the hill. So, be ready to walk some hills if you plan on going to other areas like Biaxa and Alfama. Use Uber and public transportation. Pretty cheap. After reading the other reviews, I was very worried it would be too loud to sleep (and that might be a problem on the weekends) but since we stayed there during the week, but we weren’t bothered by noise at all. They have invested in good soundproof windows and when closed, we slept great. Also stuff closed around 2am and we found it actually pretty quiet outside afterwards.
