"It is a lovely property ans breakfaat spread is quite large. Staff are friendly byt could be better trained on small nuances. The last who checked us in vaguely indicated the direction of the room and we spent 10 minuted walki g up and down searching for it. When we asked for a la carte food options other than the I.suan restaurant they have, ot took me 20 minutes to get the front desk to admit that a la carte foid could be ordered at tje lounge bar as well. When i we t to the lounge bar it took another 15.minutrs if argument for them to agree that yes they would accept the irdr even when the food menu was clearly lying inthe counter top! With a bit of better training this place would be great"

Buffet meals were good and at my visit this time Indian themed, due to majority of visitors were Indian. This was my second visit. "This is a historic hotel with a huge charm factor. My room was enormous with three balconies, and the staff was very welcoming and professional. I especially enjoyed tea and coffee in the outdoor private garden and pool area. The location was central and convenient. I always felt safe and welcomed. "

"Beautiful property. Well maintained. Appreciated the nature walk and yoga sessions. The thermal pool was great. However very poor value for money. The Sri Lankan food was bland and the food left much to be desired for. Although the food was well presented the flavours were lacking. No menus options, very limited juice options, most things are chargeable. Nothing was really offered. Staff responded to requests but had to ask for everything. Was disappointed. "
