Hello Karla,We are so pleased you enjoyed the space, breakfast and our fabulous staff! I am so sorry you had to be one among those guests who witnessed such unusual and loud antics as what went on that particular night. We heard all about it from many of our guests the following morning (unfortunate timing, as our Manager would have been sure to call the police had he been notified while it was happening). I can assure you, what happened that night is NOT normal for us. You are correct in that, as there are many things outside our control (neighboring guests, vehicles, the homeless, the garbage pick-up or simply bedmates who snore) we do try to make sure to cover all our bases and provide earplugs in all our rooms. It is the same principle as why we provide fans in case the weather becomes unseasonable warm, or how we provide our Manager's cell number should anything unforeseeable disturb our guests. We want to try and preemptively do everything we can to make sure you are able to have a good sleep. Again, I cannot stress how very sorry we are that this happened during your stay. Paul,We did hear that from several guest about fireworks going off overnight and a joy rider making noise. We try very hard to make every effort to give everyone a great experience. we are terribly sorry that the guest's TV next to your room was turned up so loud. I tried very hard to make adjustments and i hope the VIP Cottage gave you some sleep. We are very sorry.
