“We originally booked a studio, but were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment. It was very spacious and well maintained. The interior is a little dated in places, but everything was clean and tidy, so this didn’t bother us at all. The beds and bedding were excellent, and the bathroom was great with a good shower. The kitchen is quite basic, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Breakfast is small-scale but well presented, with everything you need. We also enjoyed relaxing...

“Only stayed for one night but accommodations were very clean and space worked well for our family of 5. It was nice that living room had a door which essentially made it a 3rd bedroom and my son said futon couch was comfortable. Each room also had a nice fan that kept us cool and comfortable. One complaint is that the shower water pressure was very poor. Lovely terrace that we wish we’d spent more time on!”

“Private apartment, managed by the hostel around the corner. Double bed in living room is a full size couch/futon (a 1.5 person bed). When we came in, the mirror was full of white foam, sprayed but never wiped. That was a quick remedy. Nice decoration. There was a very strong cleaning smell in the kitchen and bathroom and I could see a spray of it in the sink, like it was never rinsed (think Antikal, liquid descaler). That should have been rinsed.
