When I return to Fez, it will be to stay at Riad Kettani! Within its walls is the Morocco you want to know. The management and staff are well versed in the needs and desires of their foreign traveler guests Their extraordinary culinary crew continue to delight with their traditional Moroccan Breakfast and Dinner cuisine. A must experience when in Fez, Morocco.

Latifa and Dominique are excellent hosts. Staff is very helpful, attentive and kind. Rooms are spacious and beautifully constructed including the bathrooms. At dinner we had the best tagine out of all the places we have traveled in Morocco. Very family friendly. I highly recommend you stay here.

it was like living in a palace! Beautiful place, amazingly welcoming staff. The riad is also very conveniently located close to main attraction points, dining, and parking area. Note: there are narrow alleyways throughout the medina, so no cars can pass through, but you can call the riad and they will arrange a porter to help you with the luggage.

Very nice Riad about 4 mins walk to a parking area where you can get taxi. However, close to everything, literally 1 min walk to most famous tannery in the Médina. What made our stay special was the staff, specially Latifa. After exhausting days of walking in the Médina we would be greeted with tea. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

This is the most magical place that we stayed in Morocco. I would highly recommend it - the attention to detail is incredible. The breakfast and dinner were wonderful and I highly recommend them.

It was our first time at a riad, and it did not disappoint. Great place, with a great host, and fantastic staff that always smiles and appreciates you being there. I would recommend it without a doubt. The rooms are big, the food is excellent, and the location is right in the middle of the medina.

The Riad was amazing and the staff was fantastic. The breakfast was very good, we also opted to have dinner there one night which was very good but pricey. The Riad is very difficult to find, however everything inside the Medina is as well.

Gorgeous hotel near all the touristic sites but quiet at night; the rooms are beautiful and the staff was very helpful! Breakfast was delicious! It's inside the Medina so they will help you getting your luggage (since they are only walking streets).

The hospitality was outstanding. Loved the breakfasts and how the staff handled every our need. Excellent customer service. The irad itself is beautiful, inner courtyard and other non-guest rooms are like a museum! Very clean and beautifully decorated. The roof is amazing! My only negatives would be about our room, I think we had the smallest one and it had little space to put out belongings, also, be aware that it's an old building and the bathroom doesn't ventilate. (Nor the toilet). But that's to be expected in any older building. However, I would think that bathroom needs a door, not a curtain (toilet does have a door), otherwise nothing in the room gets a chance to remain dry.

The Riad is a charming one with a great location that is close to all interesting things in the Old City. The owner and Latifa were superbly nice and accommodating. There was a glitch with the AC but they worked tirelessly to get it fixed. Make sure you ask the owner to show you the pictures of the Riad’s Before & During renovation. What an amazing transformation.

Not worth what you pay
The meals are ridiculously pricey for basic and limited choice, more than 5 star restaurants. The toilet was not bolted down so it moved if you leaned over for toilet paper. Smelly plumbing. Tired, coarse towels. No fridge in room, a no no in a hot place like Fes. Staff was pleasant though. Overall, i would not recommend the Riad.

Beautiful Riad right in the heart of the Fez medina. Large comfortable rooms that made you feel like had gone back in time. Great view of medina and nearby Rif mountans from roof top terrace. Staff provided great service and were extremely helpful when had questions.

Fantastic Stay & Top 10 Meal of My Life!
Excellent place to stay. We were welcome immediately upon arrival with hot tea, and Younes was so friendly and accommodating. He helped set up dinner for that evening in the Riad, and it was the probably one of the 10 best meals I've ever had in my life: tagine chicken smothered in onions with roasted pear and apricot. IT. WAS. AMAZING. Younes also helped set up a guide to show us around Fes the following day, and his help was appreciated. We loved the Riad, it is beautiful and such a fun place to stay. I actually stayed in the very room pictured here on the review. We had to cut our stay short by two days because our travel plans changed suddenly because of the corona virus and we needed to try to get back to the United States. The owner, Dominique, was helpful as we were trying to make last minute travel plans changes. If you ever find yourself going to Fes, make sure to stay at Riad Kettani!

This property is situated inside the Medina. It is a beautiful place that gives guests an authentic Moroccan experience. We really enjoyed our visit and stay in this Riad. The staff are also beyond special. Very caring team of professionals.

Perfect location inside the Medina. It is well appointed and beautifully decorated. Our room was lovely, and we enjoyed having a heater, as we were there in January. The staff is very helpful, and it is a lovely riad to enjoy.

Excellent 2 nights. Location in the center of old city. Friendly staff and management. Lots of local traditional markets and restaurants nearby but needed a guide to show us around. Can be easily lost in the narrow streets. Food at the hotel was also excellent. Rooms were good sized but no phones in the rooms. Overall enjoyed our 2 nights at the hotel.

A small riad in the heart of the Medina with great, friendly staff and felt like home. The room (Malika) was conveniently located on the main level, so no narrow stairs to climb with luggage, and was very large and beautifully furnished. Only complaint was that when we arrived, the room had a faint smell of cats.

Wonderful stay!
Beautiful, well-appointed room, most convenient and efficient. Very comfortable bed. We loved our stay! Also, a lovely terrace on the roof, where you can enjoy the sun and view, and eat appetizers or cookies and have a sip of coffee or tea!

One of my favorite stays in all of Morocco. The architectural beauty and kind service was magical; all in the heart of the Medina. Yousef and his team helped us organize our time in Fez and we built an amazing friendship during our stay. I can’t recommend Riad Kettani enough. There is love in those walls.

Awesome authentic experience of s traditional Moroccan riad! The way to the riad, which is situated in the ancient medina, is a bit of a "shocking environment" (old, dirty, and narrow dark streets) but once you're inside it, it's a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

This a very nice Riad. It is very well appointed, very comfortable, tidy and clean and the perfect place to base yourself for a visit to the Fez Medina. The staff are very friendly and helpful. By preference I would pay a little extra for the larger rooms on the second floor. Wifi was great.

Don't miss a stay at Riad Kettani!
Riad Kettani is a wonderful place. Not only is it beautiful but the staff is warm, friendly and helpful. And the location is great - its right in the heart of the Medina. The rooms were exquisite and the view from the rooftop garden was spectacular. We felt like Riad Kettani was our home away from home. I recommend Riad Kettani without hestiation.

Good riad nice service. Every traveler comes Morocco should try such traditional riad. However although we requested room with bathtub they didn’t provide us. Also when I was sick on the last day they try to kick us at the checkout time sharp.

Riad in Fez
A wonderful place to stay. The riad is gorgeous and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Recommend doing dinner - had an excellent tagine. It’s a little far from the Blue Gate, but it’s very close to the large tannery. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a little gem right in the centre of the old town of Fez. Packed with traditional style and features, it was a fabulous place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, organising taxis, local guides, issuing maps etc. The food was lovely and served in a beautiful setting of the dining area in the main courtyard.

Friendly, stylish Riad in the heart of old Fez
Four night winter break in Fez. The weather was hot (30 deg each day) the riad staff welcoming, friendly and always very keen to help with anything. Lovely people. The food - we ate in the riad every morning and evening - was delicious. Fez itself is a one-off experience plunging you back into the middle ages complete with smells and sounds.

Great Stay in Fes, Morocco
We had a great 3 day stay at Riad Kettani. The staff there are amazing and the riad is beautiful. We ate all of our breakfast and dinners here and the meals were all fantastic. Thank you to Simo, Lattifa, Mustafa, and all the other staff for making us feel so welcome and make our stay so comfortable and memorable! (Lattifa, we hope your beautiful twins are doing great, and Simo we hope your new baby and your wife are both healthy and happy)! Nice place in old Fes
This Riad is clean, location is in the historic part of Fes and the staff are very helpful and eager to help. However it takes about 15 minutes walking to get to this location from the closest place of a taxi drop off area. The facilities are basic and needs to be upgraded to match the charged rate.

The riad is tucked in the medina and surrounded by a maze of tiny street with shops. The streets are pedestrian only and offer sites and sounds of local life. Upon reaching the riad we were greeted by beautiful smiling Latifa who gave us warm wet cloths and mint tea for refreshment. The riad has a lovely courtyard for relaxing and the rooms are spacious with beautiful decor. The staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged for a guide t take us on excursions. The riad offers good meals in a relaxing atmosphere. I am looking forward to going back!

Fantastic hideaway
Situated right in the middle of the medina, Read Kettani is an oasis of tranquillity. Inaccessible by car, you are met by the excellent staff and escorted to the Road through a maze of alleyways - don't try to find the place on your own. Once inside all is calm: everything is tastefully decorated in traditional Moroccan style, and so much better than the anonymity of modern chain hotels. Everything nearby - the tanneries, madrassas, museums and souks - but be sure to take a map, and take advantage of your hosts local knowledge which they will gladly impart. And when you're done with the hustle and bustle, enjoy the views from the rooftop terrace.
