"Authentic village with spectacular environment. Room and house were very clear and nicely furnished, the breakfast was absolutely fine and enough. "The Heritage Hotel is located in the heart of Hallstatt, a city that has lost its soul. Please do not go to this city or this Hotel. The Heritage and its staff, especially the manager, know they have you trapped in a facade of a city. The managers/staff demeanor and service are indicative of someone who has a captured audience. Hallstatt is as authentic as Disney Land and any true traveler would want to escape upon arrival. Parking is nowhere near the hotel (almost a mile) although it appears to have parking in the photographs. If you’re looking for a beautiful Austrian experience leave Hallstatt out of your plans and stay at hundreds beautiful places near by."
