"The Gloppen Hotell is lovely in every way. The room was beautifully decorated, modern, spacious, and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The view from our window was priceless. "We arrived in the rain and the people at this hotel made us feel as though we were coming home. It was like a port in a storm:) the room was basic, but had a little kitchen with a fridge, and a super comfy bed. The bathroom was a space saver, so a little water did get on the bathroom floor, but it was no big deal. The curtains were dark enough to block the light, and even though our room was facing the road, it was very quiet. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. There is coffee...

"On arrival our 2 night booking could not be found we were then given a room overlooking a roof directly outside the laundry and cleaners room. When I asked to change rooms the boy on reception said they were full, rubbish, there was about a dozen people in the hotel. The place is old, in need of a massive upgrade in the rooms and there’s a reason the bathroom is not in the picture of the room, it was the size of a broom cupboard with old plastic sink and toilet and the shower would be very cosy...
