Very noisy. Woke several times in the night with sirens and street noise. Charged my CC more than posted on Expedia, told it was a refundable room charge, no room charges were made, still no refund, it has been over 24 hours since checkout

The hotel and our room were modern and very clean. Even though I received email about ongoing renovation (after I booked!) it was a non-issue as work being done was at south end of property and cordoned off. Located at very urban intersection of Fed 1 and Commercial (870), walking anywhere is a relatively dangerous activity. Nevertheless, it is a secluded gem with patio/pool area, lush and green. Balcony (backside, away from Rt.1) was nice touch Nightlife area is a 5 minute drive away. Great deal, overall.

I booked through Expedia , 1 room with double beds but when I got there I was informed that it wasn’t available so I was given a queen with a roll out bed which wasn’t very comfortable but overall I enjoyed my stay.

Check-in was quick and easy. We were greeted by Flavia, who was very polite and helpful in answering our inquiries. Although there are some renovations on-going in areas, we found our room Immaculate. I would gladly stay again the next time we come to Fort Lauderdale.

The front desk was rude when we reported a problem. There was no microwave in room. The coffee maker made one cup at a time and had to be unplugged to turn on and off. The roll away bed barely fit in room. The wifi was not password protected and did not work most of time.

Staff was great but no hot tub no weight room and an obnoxious loud mouth mope running his mouth at the pool probably a retired Chicago cop or mobster wanna be a total jerk,Evangaline was great the food for breakfast was very good fix the hot tub and get the weight room intact,I realize you can only do so much with these loudmouth Italians they are probably laundering money through Anthony s restaurant I will deal with them myself ,a good staff and clean but you need to get the upgrade done.

Beautifull but bad insonorisation
Pro: The hotel is beautiful, clean and well located. Bed and Pillow is good too.  The staff make a good job.  future at your hotel.  Cons: Insonorisation between rooms is poor.  I heard TV in the next room.  People from your hotel come to see but even knocking at the other room door,  nobody answers.  So he can do nothing.  He offer to me to sleep in other room but It's not nice to transfer room.  Light is very strong in the room, I appréciate but in the morning or late in evening,  It will be nice to have gentle light.  Light in the bathroom is very bright,  It's a good thing too but when we go in the bathroom during the night, is not very useful with the motion detector.  Motion detector is not the best idea when girl take a shower and try to rinse her hair and the light turn off.  Because it's very long to rinse long haire due to low pressure and water debit.  So it's a lot of small details but when you add all of this details, I can't give a good score. The major problem is the insonorisation between room.  If you have a bad client in the room next to,  bad score will happen.

Will be nice after the construction
We stayed for surgery and recovery. We told the agent this at check in. She put us on a floor where most construction work had been completed, but we could still hear all the noise. We were also told at check in that construction would stop on the weekends; however, construction did not stop on the weekend we were there. It made recovery and resting very difficult.

The property is under severe reconstruction, the contractors were actively knocking and banging. The condition of the hotel does not match the pictures on Expedia. The hotel is small and old and outdated. It sits right on the corner of a very busy highway intersection.

Would recommend
Check in was quick, the rooms were clean and the entire hotel smelled like it had been thoroughly cleansed. Pool area is well maintained and there were more than enough pool towels and seating.
