“The vineyards were beautiful and the pool so quiet and peaceful and heated. The breakfasts were incredible. The location was central and parking was easy. There was an amazing coffee shop inside an old windmill house. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Franschhoek. ”

“Gorgeous boutique hotel! Our superior king room was huge w all amenities, even its own pool! Would have been lovely for the pool to be heated slightly to make it usable but lovely to have a private courtyard. Staff were excellent & breakfasts delicious. Highly recommend. ”

“Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink. Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night.
