Charming hotel in the center of the Old City.

This Hotel is wonderful in every way! The staff was very accommodating and surprised us with an upgrade to a suite which had a huge balcony, kitchen, 2 baths and a living room. Did I mention 2 TVs! The breakfast was very good with a lot of fresh fruit, which I appreciated, meats, cheeses, eggs, assortment of breads and pastries. Clean room, very friendly staff, great gym

Very nice hotel not far from the old section of Bern. Rooms modern and clean. 15 minutes from train station.

This hotel has a wonderful little garden with flowers right in front of it. A tram and bus station is right opposite of the hotels main entrance door. You will get a free daily city tour ticket from hotel staff as long as you stay there. Breakfast and dinner was absolutely superb. Staff very friendly and helpful. I will always return to the same place while visiting Bern. Bring a good friend with you, because the TV- channels offered are really mad.

Regarding the price that I paied the hotel was very good. It is not far from centre and the breakfast was perfect. I will go there again if i want yo visit there again in the future.

Personal was very friendly and help full. Although, the hotel was far from old town, the public transportation was very close and reliable. I would stay here again.

We are seniors in our 70s and 60s visiting Switzerland for the 1st time. We reserved 1-night stay in Hotel National Bern thru Hotel.com then decided to use Bern as base to do day trips, but at last minute no more room available thru Hotel.com. We liked the "kitchen" though there wasn't an oven to do pizza. (go to the 8th floor common room and use that one) The common room was never busy while we were there so if you want a comfortable spot to browse the internet or watch a game on your laptop that is a good spot. If there are two of you, pulling the other half of the bed out every evening was a bit of a chore but not a deal breaker. The bathroom was spacious by Swiss standards BUT the glass doors could make it awkward for some...

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was great and really good. Public transportation was across the street and very close to the hotel. Our room had a great view of the city and the Bern Expo. The staff were all friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend this place. Definitely when we are visiting Bern we will stay here again. It’s very convenient cause close to everything

Hotel was walking distance to the city and shopping. For those not inclined to walk the hotel provided tram tickets for the duration of the stay! The hotel also had a great continental breakfast and the staff was EXCELLENT! Very friendly, accommodating and very informative- also spoke excellent English which was a bonus! Planning on staying there again on my next trip to Bern!

Loved the look of the hotel room, as well as the location. Was easy to walk downtown and explore on foot to locations I had saved. Definitely would recommend to people. The rooftop was also a nice bonus
