Area not so good, but was welcomed at reception in a friendly manner. Units a bit run down and need upgrading, but beds were comfortable and clean. No restaurant or bar which was drawback for us as we had to drive into town for dinner.

Value for money

We stayed as a family in one of the self catering units (2 adults (children over 18) + child) as well as a standard room (2 Adults). Rooms are very clean with all amenities as expected. Swimming pool was relaxing in the hot weather. Road to the B&B is a gravel road ( parallel to the N1) and you may wonder if the GPS is taking you to the correct address. Not close to any shopping, but very close to N1 if you are only interested in spending the night.

A little gem in Bloom! !

We booked the family cottage at short notice. We wanted an accommodation that would sleep 7 people and found A Cherry Lane;good value for money and ideally located. Very comfortable and accommodating.

malgré un premier accueil chaleureux, nous avons vite déchanté, pas d'eau chaude dans la chambre et le compteur électrique n'arrêtait pas de sauter. nous avons passé la nuit sans électricité, présence de cafards dans la chambre et d'un scorpion. le lendemain lorsque nous avons exposé les soucis de notre chambre, le couple de gérant nous a répondu avec arrogance que "c'était comme ça, c'était l'afrique du sud" et le ton est très vite monté, nous manquant de respect manifestement, je précise que c'était la dernière nuit de 16 réservations dans lesquelles je n'ai eu aucun soucis

Cottage très grands avec une ou deux chambres. Propreté impeccable, tout le confort nécessaire, accueil adorable et personnel au petit soin. Un peu excentré de Bloemfontein mais les alentours sont très jolis.
