This place was the best! It was just what our family wanted. We had an affordable 3-bedroom unit for 6 of us. We spend countless hours on the patio overlooking the marina and a short walk to either pool. They have tennis courts, paddle boards, kayaks, bikes, etc. Convenient restaurant and bar onsite. We rented a vehicle onsite and traveled all around the island. For those who did not rent a vehicle, there is a shuttle that runs to the market and the beach most days. We try not to go back to the same place twice as there is so much to see and do in this world. But, we will be back here due to the easy flight from NC (thanks Bahamas Air), ease of traveling around this island, wonderful people, great food, etc. It was relaxing but there was also plenty to see and do.

Loved it and lots to do. Nice to have 2 pools and the hot tub. A positive first time visit. They gave us a later ck out so the family could have one more swim.

We stayed at this property August 18th-20th and had an early 8am check in. The lady at the front desk that checked us in was soooo nice, I wish I could've packed her up and take her with me lol. The sad part is I didn't get her name because we were tired from traveling ;( nonetheless, we are traveling back again to freeport in January and hope to see her again. Ps Heineken in the morning does the trick :D We loved everything about the property.

Super quiet safe people are very friendly, specially the manager I love her 😍 she is so beautiful and very well spoken with me and my husband, the lady at the lobby super friendly and very nice 😊 I will definitely go back, and recommend to families and friends.

quiet and relaxing. The island is still recovering from the hurricane in 2019 and then from the last year of Covid so activities are pretty limited. We spent t most of the time at the beach in in the clean pools. staff very helpful but as everything on island it is Bahama time which is very slow. It may just have been me because I am use to very fast pace living in Los Angeles. This is our 10 stay at this resort and cannot wait to return.

All I do is dive, dive, dive...
Great location - a quick taxi from the airport. Facilities include cars and bicycles for rent. BOTH shopping and beach are a quick bike ride away. I stay here for easy access to Grand Bahama SCUBA. Fred and Melinda are excellent instructors and technical divers. I brought my two daughters here for their first 'blue water' diving experience. So please with the trip!

Awesome Getaway
I stayed at Ocean Reef from July 27th to Aug 5th 2015 with one of my best girlfriends. We arrived at about 1:45 pm Monday. We were able to check in immediately and had to leave a 200 hundred deposit. The staff was very courtesy, professional and helpful, they sent someone to help us unload our rental car to take our stuff to our unit. Our two bedroom was spacious, beautiful with a Jacuzzi and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. There are two pools on the grounds a restaurant and they have a security guard in the evening through the night. I have been to the Bahamas many times and was extremely pleased with our accommodations. I only have two minor complaints the internet was down more than it was up in our unit but others said you could get a better connection downstairs or in the restaurant. Next the carpet leading to the units was worn and needs to be replaced but they working on something's while we were there. They did have the timeshare people out but they were not so pushy...thank goodness. Kudos to Ocean Reef and their staff. We will be back!!!! From Flo Detroit, MI (High School Teacher)
