Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, good location, lovely breakfast with a big variety and lunch boxes available if you have an outing planned which you can get on the day. I really enjoyed my stay at Enotel Magnolia.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel! I particularly loved my room - I had a superior room which was very big and spacious and had a balcony with such an incredible view. I also loved the swimming pool (both indoor and outdoor). The reception staff were super friendly who made me feel happy and welcomed. A particular shout out to Katerina at the reception desk who showed me such great hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel in Funchal

This is my second stay in this hotel. Nice hotel, not to far to walk to central Funchal. Nice, clean rooms. Good breakfast, nice pool and & spa area. Will stay again!

A lovely short stay at Enotel Magnolia. Our room was upgraded which was a nice surprise. The room was very spacious and comfortable and patio doors opened onto the garden and pool. The pool was lovely. There was a great selection of food for breakfast and the staff very helpful with our gluten free needs. The hotel is situated near a variety of restaurants and bars so a good location.

Check-in was very easy and it was a 20 minute ride from the airport. The breakfast buffet had all kinds of food available and I never went hungry. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a pretty good location. There are dining options within a ten minute walk and a small grocery store (SPAR) that is also a ten minute walk in case you forgot something.

Great hotel - faultless

Honestly, I thought this hotel was great. I enjoyed my room: clean, with a great shower and it had the benefit of a fridge and a balcony with sea-view. The daily room service was also appreciated. The hotel's team members were friendly and efficient. It had a decent in-house restaurant, but there was also the option of walking for no longer than 10 minutes to get to other restaurants. Good sized pool(s) with plenty of seating.

Wonderful Funchal base for exploring

The hotel had a delightful breakfast, room, pool, spa, location. We were able to walk into town along a single flat road, There is also free parking directly outside the hotel. Slightly hard bed, but this can be forgiven.

Excellent Stay

The location for us was ideal between Funchal and Lido. Breakfast had loads of choices and the hotel had a lot of facilities to use if you wish. My only slight compliant would be the pillows wasn’t great on the bed and the air-con wasn’t as cool as i would like however these are minor.

The walk into Funchal is 20min, slightly downhill and tiring when walking back uphill. Public transport is out side the hotel and also just near Reid's hotel.
