There were multiple restaurants in the area although we did not use them we rented one of the largest so we did cooking at the property bed was very comfortable, very considerate touches such as milk, juice, and homemade scones upon arrival
Traveling with a group of 5 and the lodge was perfect for us. The washer/dryer was a benefit and one of the reasons we chose this site. Very roomy and lovely. Good value. I was pleasantly surprised that there was breakfast items supplied for day 1.
We stayed at these properties two years ago and had a wonderful stay. Our stay this time was lovely but was disrupted by tree cutting daily following the recent storms. It wouldn’t have been so bad had this not been right next to our property. We also had my terminally ill aunt with us so this disturbed her times of rest. On arrival the rooms were nicely made up but there was staining on the carpet in the room on the lower ground to the right and the bathroom wasn’t the cleanest.
We had a lovely welcome hamper of freshly made scones and soda bread, milk, butter, jam and orange juice. Coffee pods but no sugar or tea. All other amenities were great and beds comfortable.
Would definitely return still, just wish we had been warned about the daily noise.
