It was a very pleasant stay in Gangeung. The owner couple are very nice and helpful. As we checked in, they brought extra mat and blankets for my son. They even did laundry for us on the last night for free! It is not common to find a dryer machine in Korea, especially in a motel. Also, the room is big and the bed is comfortable. The only thing is you may need a car to go to beaches and other attractions.

very nice couple runs a lovely hotel a bit far off
great bed and room and near a food court run by a lovely couple. the place is far from town and hard to find, but a good place.

Small but neat and convenient
It is a bit small motel with studio set up. Close to beach, close to the hospital. We went there for the Olympics. The place was near to the Gangneung parking lot. The room was clean in general but little bit dusty.

Wonderful stay
The owner/staff were wonderful and very helpful. He even drove us to the Olympic park and KTX station for free.

Great place with great staff
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They washed dirty clothes for no extra charge and restocked the refrigerator every day. The bed was clean and comfortable and the shower was fantastic. If traveling to Gangneung in the future, I will absolutely stay here again.

Real nice!
This is a newly built hotel. Rooms are large, bathroom is large, and hot water works perfect. This hotel is a great deal. Who doesn’t like a new hotel? ..

Outstanding Motel
Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owner and they made us feel right at home. It is a one room motel, with a separate bathroom. All of the amentities are provided daily, two bottles of water, two cans of orange juice, toothbrush & toothpaste, bathrobe, slippers and all bathroom supplies. There is a small refrigerator included. You control the floor heating and air conditioner. There is also free coffee right outside the room. The location is superb; with walking distances are many Korean restaurants, a CU 24 hour store, a 7-Eleven and a hospital. You are close to the several beaches, downtown and the Olympic areas.

Anonyous님 저희 현대모텔을 이용해주셔서 감사드립니다 실수로 온돌방을 배정해드렸는데 미안합니다. 익스피디아에서는 당일 예약을 막아놓은줄알고 막지않아 방이 없어서온돌을 드렸어요. 저희가 컴퓨터에 신경쓰는게 좀 어렵다보니 자주 들러서 체크하지 않거든요. 즐거운여행 누가 되어서 죄송합니다.

잘 쉬다 왔습니다
조금 외곽쪽이었지만 조용하고 가성비가 좋았습니다 침구나 시설도 깨끗했구요 다만 프론트로 바로 연락하는 방법이 없는게 조금 아쉬웠습니다

Anonymous님 이용해 주셔서 감사드립니다. 침구를 세탁소에 맡겨봤는데 약품만많이 사용하고 얼룩은 지지않아 집에서 큰 건조기 사놓고 세탁하고 있습니다. 사장님이 세탁소 약품이 싫다고 번거로와도 집에서 세탁하는데 좀 힘들어도 손님들께서 좋아하시니 만족입니다. 프론트문제는 저희가 방이 몇개 안돼요.벨 누르시면 가까이에 있습니다. 복도에 물, 커피, 종이컵, 화장지는 항상비치되어 있습니다.

가족여행에 좋은 저렴한 숙소인듯...
주차장이 넓고, 사장님도 친절하셔서 좋았고, 매트리스가 편해서 숙면했습니다. 별개로 근처에 있는 현대수퍼 사장님도 친절하시고 유쾌해서 좋았습니다. 단, 강릉시(테라로사본점)까지는 생각보다 떨어져 있더라구요...

얼마안되서 깔끔한편이였고 강릉시내와도 차로 10분이면 가서 괜찮았어요 ~ 가격대비 만족합니다

너무나 친절하신 사장님 부부~ 뭐든 필요하다고 함, 바로바로 도와주시고 준비해주셔서...... 꼭 친적집에 온 느낌이랄까! 방 청소도 매일 매일 너무 잘해주시고, 모텔 전체가 참 깨끗하고 편리하더라고여~

미리 숙소를 구하지 않고 간터라 급하게 찾아 들어갔는데 어떤분 후기대로 친구 원룸 가서 잔 것 같았어요. 방도 깨끗하고 아산병원 앞이라 조용하고 좋았는데, 화장실 바닥이 조금 지저분했어요.

밤늦게쯤에 급하게 예약을 잡고 들어갔는데 직원분이 친절하게 대해주셔서 놀랐네요ㅎㅎ 병원에 일이 있어서 잡은거였는데 강릉 병원 바로 앞이라 이동이 편하고요. 저렴한 가격으로 들어가서 기대안했는데 침대도 마음에 들었고 전반적으로 방이 깔끔하고 조용했어요. 무엇보다 근처 편의점도 많고 괜찮은 식당도 많아서 좋네요.

일단일반모텔같진 않았고 가족들끼리오기도 무난했어요.근데조금 방안에 기본품이 다없어서 연락해서달라고 해야했어요 침대가 일단 너무 딱딱해서 불편함요

못내 아쉽네요
그나마 선택하게된 계기가 후기였는데 막상 경험해보니 가성비 측면에서도 후회가 됩니다 이번 강릉 가족여행 모두 좋았지만 숙소가 최고의 옥에 티로 남았다고 가족들 모두 말하네요 비슷한 가격에 조식까지 주는 호텔도 있다는 것을 알고 후회 많았습니다 물론 신축이라 완전 나쁘진 않았지만... 가성비 따지려면 가격이 훨씬 저렴하거나 뭔가 다른 포인트가 필요할것 같습니다

저렴한 가격의 깨끗한 호텔
주인 아주머니가 너무 친절하게 잘 해주셔서 너무 감사했습니다. 강릉 시내에 위치하진 않았지만 그리 멀지도 않고, 저렴하고 깨끗하게 이용하기에 좋습니다.
