I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay. Thank you for your review. We’ve looked into your stated concerns and not found any issues with the hallways nor found “old carpet and still air.” We see you stayed on a weekday where it is indeed a quieter experience here at the Lodge. Certainly our rustic styled facility and location is not for everyone nor does it appeal to everyone’s tastes.

I’m glad to hear our staff was a pleasant part of your stay. We are sorry to hear you were not happy with your stay overall. We are a bed and breakfast (plus events center) and we understand that what we offer is not for everyone. The photos of the rooms are current and accurate, though I do suppose that “dated” means different things to different people. The vast majority of our guests find the decor pleasant and welcoming. I’m sorry it was not to your taste. I do advise guests look over the abundant photos we offer and review whether our lake area location and decor is suitable for their travel interests and needs before making a choice to stay with us. I need to make a factual correction for the benefit of other guests: Given that we are a bed and breakfast, most guests combine their lunches and dinners with their daytrip outings. For those guests who wish to spend the majority of their trip at the Lodge, there are in room refrigerators and microwaves, and there are dining options (burgers/pizza) that begin at a ten minute drive away. At twenty minutes away there are a half dozen or so more options. At thirty minutes one can be at any of dozens of restaurants in the near side of Rogers or Bentonville. We do always want our guests to have the most accurate information when deciding whether we are a good fit for their travel needs. I hope your future travels bring you to places more suited to your interests.

It is important to us that our guests know that we are a bed and breakfast with the nearest lunch and dinner options starting at a ten minute drive away. There are an abundance of options for dining 20-30 minutes away. Each room does have a small refrigerator and a microwave should a guest prefer to bring food to eat in their room.
